The Challenge

Aligning a large fleet of future developers

The Hamilton app was a huge success to its fanbase, but also became an app of legions for a new breed of developers — Flutter developers. The Hamilton app was the first app to show the world that Flutter is an ideal choice for large scale production apps.

Designing scalable interfaces over time

The Hamilton app was built by the founding team of VGV while at (now shuttered) Posse, and Hamilton was VGV's first client.

Breaking boundaries with Firebase. With this backend infrastructure platform, the Hamilton app blazed new trails with serverless computing.

Our Solution

A consumer-friendly, multi-platform mobile app built with Flutter, available on both iOS & Android.

Nuna and VGV will continue to iterate on the mobile app, incorporating user feedback and roadmap enhancements. They have also hired Flutter engineers to support the application moving forward, leveraging the existing VGV resources for onboarding and alignment. With a solid foundation in place, Nuna aims to scale the mobile app internationally, driving user adoption and improving healthcare outcomes globally.

The Result
Achieving a mobile app that as a result formed a long-standing relationship between Hamilton and VGV:
  • Hamilton’s mobile app has +500,000 monthly active users.
  • As of today, +3.5 million apps have been installed.
  • As a result, +100,000 lottery entries were processed.
